A) What is a jacket potato? Is that like a potato pancake or the kind that are sold in McDonald's for breakfast and are served in a paper sleeve?

B) The Who-Is that Live album good? I have Live At Leeds (IIRC) and it was good but I have not heard it in years. I would like to buy a Who album that I would want to play repeatedly, as they have a lot of good songs.

C) WAR-Huh, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing! Say it again!! All those folks in the Middle East have been killing each other for 5000 years, and I don't see what we are adding to it except more killing and more weapons. None of them are going to start loving each other or being civil in less than 50 years, and who can afford to stay there forever?? The USA is being bankrupted by Bush so his pals and his family can make BILLIONS from their oil investments.

What is the upside? In thirty years there might be a Democracy in Iraq?? So what?? With all the money that has been spent in Iraq, thousands/millions of people could have gotten all kinds of medical care and better education here in the USA.

The Bush Administration is currently cutting funding to a Health Insurance Plan for Children who are poor. Meanwhile they are spending a million times more in Iraq building hospitals that don't work properly because it is all a corrupt scam over there. Iraq and Afghanistan are a major BS scam that is being perpetrated on the USA and to a lesser degree on the UK too.

Billions are being stolen from their respective treasuries and spent on the cronies of various political figures. The upside is none. The people of Iraq hate our guts and they certainly have good reason to do so. Democracy should not be forced on anyone, just like communism or fascism should not be forced on people either.

Jacket Potato is Baked Potato, cooked in its skin. I usually do mine in the microwave (takes too log in the oven), then cut in half and fill with various things, last night beans (don't forget the knob of butter).

The Who album is good it was recorded in about 2002 at a charity concert with Roger Daltry, Pete Townsend & John Entwistle with Zak Starkey on drums. They play all the classics and there are guest appearances by Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Paul Weller, Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), Kelly Jones (Stereophonics), Bryan Adams & Nigel Kennedy.
Its also available on DVD which I've also got.

As for wars the world has a problem mainly caused by religion. Fanatics are sick and need eliminating how we go about it is the problem, its not a easy subject.
I think Iraq was a mistake (although at the time I fell for the weapons of mass destruction story)but we have no resonable way out we have increased the problem, Saddam was evil but he kept them in check with his brutality and maybe should have been left alone.
I do think Afganistan is the real war on terror and if we didn't deal with it we would see far more attacks around the world.

I guess as you are in the UK, you have to deal with this to a greater degree. The Muslims seem to have turned Britain into a northern colony of Saudi Arabia.

It's a sad fact but true that a lot of very rich and powerful people make a LOT of money out of war.
Where the Iraq war is concerned, it showed to me how helpless we are to change things in the end. Millions marched against starting the war in the US and in the UK, all over the world in fact. Did the powers that be take any notice? Did they diddley!
The middle east is a completely different animal to what we are in the west. How long has 'Democracy' (I put democracy in quotes as we don't really have it) taken to evolve in the West?? These sort of things have to evolve, it cant be imposed by the point of a gun.
Having said all that, I support our troops wholeheartedly, Its just the idiots that order them into these quagmires that I could gladly punch on the nose!

Spidey,
To be honest Home Grown terrorists are scary "the enemy within", we give them and their families better lifes and they want to turn us into a third world country. We must come down hard on the fanatics its all they nderstand, the softly softly approach doesn't work.
When these people are caught it always turns out the've spent time in Afganistan, Pakistan, Iran and the like at terrorist training camps, we need to sort out these places.

Airliebird,
I agree 100% behind our troops but the leaders need to support them and make sure they are used in the places that will protect OUR country. That is their job and they deserve all our support.

First of all, had to read the title twice, thought it said "Bits and Boobs". LOL

Second of all, well, there is no second of all. Just didn't want to sound like a pervert.
