In The Beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth. And the Earth was without form, and void, And darkness was upon the face of the deep.
And the Devil said, "It doesn't get any better than this."
And so God created Man in His own image; Male and female He created them.
And God looked upon Man and Woman And saw that they were lean and fit. And God populated the earth With broccoli and cauliflower and spinach And green and yellow vegetables of all kinds, So Man and Woman would live long and healthy lives.
And so the Devil created McDonald's. And McDonald's brought forth the 79-cent double cheeseburger. And the Devil said to Man, "You want fries with that?"
And Man said, "Super-size them." And Man gained five pounds.
And so God created the healthful yogurt, That Woman might keep her figure But the Devil brought forth chocolate. And Woman gained five pounds.
And God said, "Try my crispy fresh salad."And the Devil brought forth Ben and Jerry's. And Woman gained 10 pounds.
And God said, "Why doth thou eatest thus?"I have sent thee heart-healthy vegetables And olive oil with which to cook them."
But the Devil brought forth chicken fried steak So big it needed its own platter. And Man gained 10 pounds And his bad cholesterol went through the roof.
And so God brought forth running shoes. And Man resolved to lose those extra pounds.
And the Devil brought forth cable TV with remote control So Man would not have to toil to change channels between ESPN and ESPN2. And Man gained another 20 pounds.
And so God brought forth the potato, A vegetable naturally low in fat and brimming with nutrition.
And the Devil peeled off the healthful skin and sliced the starchy center into chips and deep-fat fried them. And the Devil created sour cream dip.
And Man clutched his remote control And ate the potato chips swaddled in cholesterol. And the Devil saw and said, "It is good."
And Man went into cardiac arrest. And God sighed and created quadruple bypass surgery. And the Devil canceled Man's health insurance.
So God showed Woman how to peel the skin off chicken And cook the nourishing whole grain brown rice. And the Devil created light beer So Man could poison his body, While feeling righteous because he had to drink twice as much of the now-insipid brew to get the same buzz. And Man gained another 10 pounds.
And Woman ventured forth Into the land of Godiva chocolate, And upon returning asked Man, "Do I look fat?"
And the Devil said, "Always tell the truth." And Man did.
And Woman went out from the presence of Man And dwelt in the land of the divorce lawyer, East of the marriage counselor.
And the Devil said, "It doesn't get any better than this."

Another Day in My Life
Well as said in a previous post I went out around town for a few beers with a workmate, actually we met up with three others who used to work with us. Anyway we toured a few local hotspots it was fairly busy but not packed. To be honest I was a bit tired last night and was struggling a bit. About 11pm we went to a dance bar but to be honest I only gave it about half a hour before calling it a day, I just wasn't in the mood.
This morning I had a walk up town and around our Bank Holiday Market, never bought anything didn't see anything that caught my eye. As usual for this time of year the town was packed with "Rubber Neckers". For my troubles I ended up with a sore shin, an old lady lost control of her Electric invalid vehicle and managed to crash straight into me. It hurt like hell but she was upset and very apologetic so I just said I was ok.
This afternoon I stuck some new rubbers on my Table Tennis Bat and also I did a bit of gardening, actually trimmed a big bush but thats about all I've done today.
Tonight I'm off out again this time for a game of Pool, we are going to our local and apparently somebody from the league committee is coming down to explain some new rules to us.
Tomorrow its back to work and I'm involved ina consultation meeting about the redundancy/factory closure, its good to be involved you get a free lunch.
After work I'm hoping to get a round of Golf, two or three of us should be going. Don't know if we'll get the full 18 holes played before it comes dark, we'll see probably depends how many people are on the course.
Hope you are all well.

Music Monday - The "N's"
Time for the "N's" and not a massive amount of choice I admit but I reckon I've come up with 3 classics of their own styles.
1. Nirvana "Heart Shaped Box" - This Grunge song made No5 in the UK in 1993, RIP Kurt.
2. New Order "Blue Monday" - First charted in 1983 (twice), then 84, 88 & 95, good song.
3. Willie Nelson "Always on my mind" - Not a massive hit in the UK but I reckon a country classic.

Boring Sunday
I'm sort of Bored this afternoon with nothing to do, ok I've got a few chores I should be doing but since lunch I've felt sort of lazy.
This morning I went for a walk into town and around the area did about 4 miles but needed the exercise to loosen myself up. I was a little stiff and aching following my training session with our British League Table Tennis squad yesterday. The training went really well I was pleased with the way I was playing just a bit of fine tuning and I'll be really sharp for the season start (I hope).
Tonight I'm out for a few beers with one of my workmates "Skid", he's actually on 2-10 but is getting an early relief so we are meeting at 8pm. Only off around town but its usually busy when its a Bank Holiday Weekend.
I'm not at work tomorrow with it been a bank holiday a really big market with visitors from all over visiting, I'll have a walk around to see if I can find a few bargains.
I've been on my computor a bit checking out things about Philadelphia & Atlanta in preparation for my upcoming trip. I don't know too much about either City but I'm finding out a few good places to visit, I must say I'm looking forward to the trip.
On a recent post I mentioned my thoughts on the wars in Iraq and Afganistan so I've added a voting poll on my side bar so you can all give your opinion.

MOT or MIT
For the third match running the mighty whites produced the goods with a superb 2-1 victory over pre-season favorites Nottingham Forest on their own turf.
So once again it was "Marching on Together" from Yorkshires own version of the "Mission Impossible Team". The simple facts are 3 wins, 9 points achieved and our deficit is now down to minus 6. Lord Mahwinney and your cronies on the Football League Committee I hope you are watching its only a matter of time until we reel everbody in. We are together it is us against the world and you can't beat a siege mentality.
Ok we are still bottom on your table but we would be top if this wasn't a handicap but with 43 games to go you ain't given the rest enough start. This is Leeds United and you can't kill us, the only way is up.
The simple facts two weeks ago we started on -15 and 15 points behind 23 other teams now we are 15 points off the top team Leyton Orient who are the only other club with a maximum, 13 points off a automatic promotion place (2nd), 12 points off a play off spot, 7 points off safety & 6 points away from bottom.
Here is Leeds in the table :- Leeds
Once again it was the late show with Jermaine Beckford (pictured below) scoring a last minute winner the pre-season fitness work is paying off.

We did take a early lead through Tresor Kandol (below) before Forest had equalised but this team never stops, we are proud.
Hell am I happy two home games coming up.

Bits & Bobs
One thing I'm happy about is the fact its a Bank Holiday weekend so I get 3 days off work, not back while Tuesday and I need the break. Saying that I'll probably get called out but I hope not.
On the work front the consultation process continues next week but today it was rumoured somebody may come in with a late bid to buy the place, to be honest I'm just about fed up with all the rumours and the quicker everything is decided the better, I've been f****d about enough.
Tomorrow I'm Table Tennis training with our British league squad it should be hard but good. Sunday night I'm off out for a few beers with my workmate "Skid" just around some local pubs.
I had a weigh in at work today and the result wasn't good I've put on 1kg, I'm now 103.5kg (remember I'm fully clothed in work gear), its not a surprise I've had the occasional weak moment but I did hope to at least break even, probably not exercised enough.
History Question - What happend on this day in 1814 ? I'm sure my American friends will know and remember don't mess with the British.
The Mighty Whites are away against "Nottingham Forest" tomorrow and it will be a hard match but we are optimistic the winning start will continue and another 3 points will be knocked off the minus 15 we started with.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

This & That
I'll start with work and the plans for closure, at present we are undergoing a 30 day consultation process between management and Workers representitives. I'm actually on the committee for this so can't really say too much. The local MP came to site Monday and I met him he's actually trying to help.
There's only really two things I want to know - When will I finish & How much will I get ?
Today I was actually headhunted a company's manager phoned me up asking if I was interested in working for them, he wants me to send my CV. I'm unsure if I'm interested I'll give it some thought but its an option, need my questions answering first.
I don't think I've done too well lately with losing weight (probably holding my own at best), I went to Pool Monday, we didn't have a match but I was supposed to be playing singles but my opponent failed to show. However I then found out we had a rearranged match last night so that was too nights drinking beer (not good for weight loss).
Also yesterday I was going well, Porridge & Blueberries for breakfast, rest of day Fruit (Apple, Cherries, Banana & Orange. Anyway I got home from work and was starving, I had 4 small pieces of "Southern Fried" Chicken in the fridge so decided to do it with a few spicy potato wedges. I had some roasting Parsnips in the freezer so put them in the oven, while doing it I thought why not sling in some onion rings. Not satisfied with that I boiled up a pan of water and threw in some Sprouts, Broccoli and Carrots. Then I remembered my next door neighbour had given me some Tomato's so I chopped a couple of them in half and put them under the grill.
Well what started out as a small meal ended up totally filling a large plate (believe me it was a lot), anyway not one to be beaten I battled through it but was totally bloated afterwards.
I don't normally eat again after my evening meal but when I got home from my Pool match at about 11.30pm I remembered I had a big piece of cake and stuffed myself with that. The cake was what my cousin had brought around it was from her 25th wedding anniversary.
So today I've felt guilty so on top of my porridge & fruit I've only had a salad for evening meal and thats it for today.
Exercise - I haven't trained for over a week or since I played the Table Tennis tournament the weekend before last. To be honest I've avoided because I felt a slight tweak in my Knee and didn't want to aggrivate. I'm ok now so I'm off to training tonight so that should do me good. I've also a pre season training day with our British league squad on Saturday (6 hours), that should be tough. Our first matches are in two weeks and I'm really looking forward to playing in a higher division.
Leeds United - A great start to the season as I've previously reported and we really could do with another win at Nottingham on Saturday, we have this 15 points to make up. A special mention though to our Youth team (under 18's) for their 3-0 destruction of their counterparts from Manchester United (otherwise known as red vermin) on their own turf. The future is White my friends.
A week on Friday a few of the gang from work are going out for a meal in York and I'm deciding whether to go along. I'm also out this Sunday Skid and myself are off to tour a few of the local nightspots, not at work on Monday its a bank holiday.
Thats about it for today, well I could mention 3 weeks from now I'll be on the big bird somewhere over the Atlantic, can't wait, and I'm gonna meet a couple of Blog friends that will be fantastic.

Music Monday - The "M's"
Well following the journey back into the 1950's for the "L's" last week I thought I'd better find some classics for this week. There is a good choice for the "M's" and I've left out may good acts which I'm sure you can all name.
This is my pick I'm sure you'll like them !
1. Moody Blues "Nights in White Satin" - This as got to be up there with some of the all time great songs, I think so anyway it actually only made No19 in the UK charts on its release in 1967 it did better five years later reaching No9.
2. Manic Street Preachers "If you tolerate this" - I thought a few good songs appeared in the 1990's and I reckon this is one of them even though the group is Welsh.
3. Mott the Hoople "All the Young Dudes" - Ok I was brought up on Glam Rock and this is one of my favorites, it was origionally wrote by David Bowie It made No3 back in 1972 for Ian Hunter and the boys. Great photo's in the clip showing a few Glam greats.

Nine more points to go nine more points to zero
Leeds United 4 - 1 Southend
Two games, two wins, six points, plus a Carling Cup win sends a message to Lord Mahwinny and all who made us start on minus 15 you'd better start looking over your shoulder.
You tried to kill Leeds United you failed and now we are coming to get you.
No Surrender MOT.
We started last week with 23 teams having a 15 point advantage over us now only two remain that distance away (Orient & Huddersfield). Four teams are 13 points ahead thats a play off spot, seven teams are 12 points ahead, another two are eleven in front, six are now 10 points clear and thats safety while two are now in single figures at 9 points ahead.
And still 44 matches to go watch this space.

Four teams are 13 points ahead thats a play off spot, seven teams are 12 points ahead, another two are eleven in front, six are now 10 points clear and thats safety while two are now in single figures at 9 points ahead.
And still 44 matches to go watch this space.

My Life Changed Today
It looks like I'll have to think hard what I will do in my life, today at work we were called to a site meeting where it was announced we will be closing.
Although there is now a 30 day consultation process with the unions the plan is to cease production at the end of September. The site will need a small skeleton staff to stay on after that date to assist on decommisioning and making the site safe. Maybe I'll get a few months work on this maybe not we'll see. The bottom line is sometime after September I've to decide what I want to do with my life.
No need to sympathaise with me I won't be destroyed financially I'll definately get by fine but its the people with young families and large mortgages that I feel so sorry for, they can't afford this.
I should get a decent redundancy payment as I've been there a long time although it will pay me to invest a big part of this to boost my works pension.
Anyway when it happens I'm not necessary look for work straight away I'll consider a number of options :-
1. Its maybe a chance to change career I'm a bit bored with what I'm doing so this is possibility.
2. I may move to another country, probably not but its a option I'll consider.
3. I may technically retire, ok a bit early but I have a option of taking a significantly reduced pension at 50 (next March), I could cope with a life of leisure but I've a few sums to do.
4. I may just need to do part time work depending how my sums come out when I get all the info.
Looking on the positive :-
1. My Golf handicap should improve.
2. It may give me a chance to fulfill some ambitions including more travel, time off work will no longer a problem.
Anyway I've a lot to work out over the next few weeks but one thing for sure I plan to take a break to access my options.

13 nights 5 hotels
Its less than a month to my next trip to North America and I'm really looking forward to it as I'll be visiting two cities I've never been to. I'm sure I'll have a great time and will be telling you all about it.
The unusual thing about this trip is the fact I'll be staying in 5 seperate hotels in 13 nights so here is the plan :-
Tuesday 11th September - After work I'll be getting a train to Manchester airport (have to change at Huddersfield) staying over at "Bewleys Hotel" on the airport. I usually stay at this hotel I think they are getting to know me, they do a great buffet breakfast.
Wednesday 12th September - Fly with US Airways to Philadelphia where I will stay at the "Comfort Inn Downtown Historic area". On the plus side they provide a free continental breakfast which isn't always the case in the US. Reading the reviews it seems to be in walking distance to most things to see and some good nightspots. I'll be staying here five nights.
Monday 17th September - Fly to Atlanta with Delta airways and staying in midtown at the "Best Western Granada Suites". I'll be staying here 4 nights and again they provide a free breakfast but it sounds like a good British one with bacon & sausage if you want it. During weekdays (like while I'm there) they have a free cocktail hour so I must get my moneys worth lol. I picked midtown over downtown as I checked out some reviews and although downtown is good for all the sites its a bit of a ghost town full of dodgy charactors at night according to some locals. Midtown does have a bit of nightlife and is near enough to downtown to spend the days there.
Friday 21st September - An area I wanted to visit while in Atlanta is Buckhead which is a trendy area up at the north end of the city. It has some big shopping malls and Buckhead village
is full of trendy restaurants and nightspots so it could be a good weekend. I'll be staying Friday & Saturday night at the "Sheraton Hotel" got a real good deal and the big plus is I'll be joined by certainly one of my blog friends Rachel and hopfully we can convince another to join us thats Rebecca , perhaps everyone that reads this can encourage her cos we both really want to meet her.
Sunday 23rd September - This is my final night and I'll be spending it at the "Hampton Inn" which is in a suberb to the south of the city called College Park. It is close to the airport and provides a free shuttle service so I thought it a good idea as my flight is at about 10am Monday.
If I'd stayed an extra night in Buckhead I'd have had to leave the hotel before 7am which would have meant a early night. That was pointless so staying near the airport will mean I'm not so rushed prior to my long journey. I'll probably get a nice meal and just have a quiet drink at a local bar.
Should be a great trip.

Ten Miscellaneous Facts about me
1. When I was born Perry Como was top of the charts with "Magic Moments" so no surprise there.
2. I've been inside a Prison - don't worry I'm not a mass murderer I actually was visiting a old friend that was a bit of a head case, I've moved on with my friends since then.
3. They only bone I've ever broken is my wrist.
4. I once slept rough on the streets of Copenhagen, went to watch a England soccer match in my younger days and found prices more than double of home, it was basically a choice of hotel or food& drink for the week.
5. I've a handicap of 15 at golf which is quite good to say I only play about 6 times per year.
6. I still can't believe I took to blogging but I'm glad I did, I've made some great friends.
7. I have to wear reading glasses and hate it, I don't like admitting I'm getting older.
8. My religion is "Church of England" which is a protestant offshoot. but saying that I don't go to church other than weddings and funerals but I don't think that makes me a bad person.
9. On the same note I reckon I'd do anything for people I consider real friends but let me down once and you are history. I don't give 2nd chances I think if someone lets you down once they'll do it again.
10. I drive a Silver Ford Focus.

Music Monday - The "L's"
Well as the letter "L" is the Roman numeral for "50" I've decided to go back to a era we haven't covered yet the 1950's and post three songs from before most of us were born.
The first is by a singer I know one of my blog friends Airliebird likes and the other two were Rock n Roll classics.
1. Mario Lanza "Because"
2. Little Richard "Good Golly Miss Molly"
3. Jerry Lee Lewis "Great Balls of Fire"

Update on Today
For those that read my yesterdays post I got beat in the last 8 of the tournament in both Singles and doubles, both times it was against much higher ranked players and both times it was by 3 sets to 1 so not a million miles away. To be honest I didn't think I was quite as strong today I was quite tired from Saturdays efforts.
I'm really chuffed with my performance I'm sure my training is paying off (plus weightloss maybe), but to be honest I'm really shattered and everthing aches, arm, shoulder, back, legs, knees, etc. not sort of injury pains just overworked pains. I reckon I've gotta get fitter to compete consistantly at this level.

A Good Day
Today as been good on two accounts I'm happy believe me.
1. I'm gonna start with myself, I've been in Halifax playing a Table Tennis Competition and have done really well. I know I've trained hard this summer and its been going well but I couldn't have dreamed up todays results.
It was a Open Tournament for Veterans with players from all over the country, it was a big high standard entry and today was the qualifying groups, everyone was placed in a group of 8 players with the top two getting through to tomorrows main event, the players finishing 3rd & 4th into band "2"event and so on.
Anyway first game up I played a bloke from Lancashire I hate playing and usually struggle against, I lost the first set but bounced back to beat him by taking the next 3. I was happy with that but next I had the top seed, not just in my group but in the whole tournament, anyway it was a expected loss he is ranked about No6 in England and I'm not in the top 100. As expected he took the first set, then the 2nd all though I got close. I shocked him in the 3rd and actually pinched it, unbelievably I also returned all his big shots to win the 4th 18-16 after a lot of deuce points.
The deciding set started I was a little nervous cos I could sense a lot of people starting to watch sensing a shock and the bottom line is I played out of my skin and won 11-6.
Although I tired a lot as the day went on I managed to win my other 5 matches, it was tough, not one of them was in straight sets and I could have easily lost them all on another day.
Anyway the bottom line is I've won the group I'm not only in the main event I'm in the spot reserved for the top seed and I'll even get a 1st round bye.
Ok I'm also a realist I'll be the lowest ranked player in it and probably wont win a game but who knows I'll be trying.
2. 3pm - Leeds United start the season in bottom place in the league on -15points, yes 15 points
behind all 23 Clubs that started on zero.
5pm - Tranmere Rovers 1 Leeds Utd 2 - Its now minus 12 and with only 6 other teams winning we are now 15 points behind them, 13 points behind Ten Clubs and 12 behind the other seven. Start looking over your shoulders boys this may be a handical now but we are coming to get you.
The celebration with our players and Fans was like a team that had just won the championship they just rubbed it in the faces of our enemys, they showed them what it means to us.

This and That
A few things tonight and I'll start with weight loss, at my last weigh in on my home scales (20th July) I weighed 216.5lb. Well following that my scales played silly sods and won't work so I know have started weighing on some industrial scales at work each Friday.
Last week on these scales that are very accurate (calibrated for product) I weighed 103.5kg which actually equates to 127.7lb. At first look this looks like I've gained a massive 11.2lb but actually to explain on my own scales I was naked and on these scales I jump on as I pass I'm wearing all my work clothes including heavy Flame resistant trousers, Steel Toe capped safety Boots and Safety Helmut plus carrying a radio. My previous scales may have been slightly out but the clothing & work equipment explains a big part of it I believe.
Anyway I'll take the 103.5kg as a new start weight and I'm pleased to report a 1kg loss this week as my new weight is 102.5kg.
Moving on last Friday I went for a night out wearing the shirt most people voted for, it was fun after meeting up at the Red Lion we went to a restaurant I've not been to before, then on to a cocktail bar called "Vudu". This took us to about midnight when most people went home as a Taxi was booked however Me and "Skid" decided to go on to a nightclub and to be honest we didn't pick well, tried a new one but it just wasn't our scene didn't like the music and most of the others there were all kids.
I didn't mention the meal was a leaving do from work for the lovely Tracy from Shipping department, she actually finished today and I gave her a big hug in reception as one does. There was actually ten of us for the meal six nice ladies, Tracy, Karen, Sue, Sam, Kathryn & Diane among the blokes Beachy and Teflon made up the numbers. It was a good laugh and I can't wait for the next outing (probably 31st August).
As I said last night I've booked my next Vacation and its back to the States and its two new Cities for me. I'm going mid September spending 5 nights in Philadelphia (must see the Rocky Statue) before moving on to Atlanta. In Atlanta I'm spending the first four nights in a hotel in Mid town before spending the weekend (Friday & Saturday night) in the Trendy Buckhead area to the north of the City.
More details later but the big news with this trip is I'm hoping to meet up with two of my blogging friends, yes two if I'm lucky. Hopfully Rachel and Rebecca will both be able to get to Atlanta what a gang of three, sure to get some great pics.
This Weekend I'm playing Table Tennis at the Halifax Veterans Summer Tournament, although out of season this is always a popular event attracting players over the age of 40 from all over England, many nationally ranked.
On Saturday you play in a group of about 6 or 7 players and depending where you finish dictates which section you play in Sundays Knockouts. The Top two go in the main section which is always very tough, next two into Band "2" and the remainder into band "3". Last year I came third in my qualifying group but on the Sunday I did well to reach the Band "2" final but eventually lost.
Training as gone well I think this summer so with a bit of luck I'll have a good weekend, I'll let you know.
Can't go without mentioning the Mighty Whites, the talking is over, the injustice is done, we know where we stand (15 points adrift), now is the time for Leeds United to shine, good luck at Tranmere to the boys. MOT.

Vacation Time
I've cheered myself up (read my last post) by booking another vacation, just thought I'd let you all know but I'll post details later.
With us or against us ?
This week I've had a shit week everthing I've touched seems to have gone wrong, I've been feeling p****d off all week, I won't go into details just a lot of minor things such as breakdowns at work, Credit Card blocked for no reason, Idiot in car park wanting to punch me cos I blocked him getting out of the in gate.
Well today was the big decision for my Football team, the other clubs would vote on our appeal against the 15 point reduction, yes it was up to the Chairman of our rivals. However surely common sense would prevail I thought and at worst the world record points deficit would be reduced. Well did it f**k 75 % of the b*****ds voted against us so Saturday we start our campaign -15 points adrift at the bottom of the league, its now a handicap competition.
So I ask the question Who is with us and who is against us ? from now on it is us against the world take your side no middle ground.
Lets wait and see which B*****s voted against us so far the names of two have been revealed they are Hull City and Oldham Athletic, don't worry boys we won't forget. And Oldham don't forget you are in our league and we are really looking forward to the clash.
On the plus side Leicester Chairman Milan Manderic was to vote for us but was late and missed the vote apparently stuck in traffic, thanks to him at least he was on the right side.
The one we really want to know about is which way did Peter Ridsdale vote, he is the man resposible for all this and its him that should never be allowed in football.
The reason theywant to try and keep us in that league is the boost in attendancies our army of fans will provide the first match at Tranmere, the away section is completely sold out.
Other people have spoken up in support this week including three ex managers David O'Leary, Peter Reid & Kevin Blackwell, for that we thank them.
Manager Dennis Wise speaks well he is obviously gutted with this handicap but speaks not of relegation but promotion, you speak well Dennis now do it please and show these b*****s.
Realisticly our estimated targets are - Avoid Relegation 60points, play offs 90 points & win the league a massive 105points which would be a record.
The biggest boost is the players who could have walked like a lot did when we fell from the Premiership so thanks to all that have stood by us some from loan deals last season such as Alan Thompson, Matt Heath & Torre Andre Flo even the great dane Casper Ankergren has returned. Thanks Rui Marquess you waited a long time for your chance, Eddie Lewis & Jonathan Douglass thanks, also the young guns that have stayed such as Johnny Howson, Tom Elliott, Ben Parker, and a few more now is your time boys.
Thanks for having faith and joining what many think is a sinking ship to David Prutton, Curtis Weston & Leon Constantine we love you for it, become heroes now is your chance.
Thanks to any I've missed plus lets not forget the returning Jermaine Beckford whose goals will fire us back where we belong.
As for fans of other Clubs that have been slagging us on various forums particularly Scummers, Blunts, the other lot from Sheffield, Taffs. I'll say get your head out your arse and start getting concerned with your own shower of shit.
Thanks though to some of the fans I've read today who synpathaised with us particularly those on the BBC forum from West Ham, Newcastle and Sunderland.
I could write on this forever but I just needed to get it off my chest, I love my football Club its a cradle till grave thing so be with me on this.
We know the targets, We can do it and we will do it because we believe in miracles always have.
Marching on Together.

Music Monday - The "K's"
Well we are up to the letter "k" and there are a few interesting choices that I've left out such as Glady's Knight, Kraftwork, Billy J Kramer, Beverley Knight, Kiss, etc. I'm sure you can come up with more.
Anyway these are the three I've chosen I hope you like them :-
1. Toby Keith "High Maintenance Women" - Ok I don't know much about him as I'm not the biggest Country fan, however I do know that my good blog buddy Rachel loves him so thats good enough for me. Great video.
2. Kaiser Chiefs "I Predict a Riot" - The lads from Leeds need I say more.
3. The Kinks "Lola" - I'm a big fan of Ray Davis and this is one of my all time favorites, shit did I just say I like a song about a transvestite. It is a great song from one of the greatest English Bands ever.

Friends
What is a Friend ?
Personally when I meet people I find I like most people but do admit some I do take a dislike to, can't explain it it just happens sometimes.
Anyway the one's I don't like are insignificant its people that become friends that really matter I reckon.
Where am I going with this post well I'm asking how many good quotes/sayings can you all come up with that sums up what a real friend is ?
I'll start it off with these gems :-
1. A friend is somebody that walks in when the rest of the world walk out.
2. A friend is someone who knows all about you but loves you anyway.

Can it get Worse
First the good news, now one week before the start of the new season the Faceless Bastards and the Football League having given my Club Leeds United their Golden Share, so we can now compete, we can sign players.
One problem most of the players worth signing have probably signed for someone else. But thats only part of it the F*****g T**ts on their pumped up little committee have deducted us 15 points, yes we have to start the season 15 points behind everyone else. This virtually makes it impossible for us to get promoted in fact it makes us clear favorites for relegation.
These idiots that run the game have never helped us and decisions always go against us, we are used to it but this takes the biscuit. Never before has a Club been deducted this many points, they are killing us, it is slow torture.
I think if I came across one of these people I could quite easily commit murder, it is nothing short of scandelous what they are doing.
Our crime the Club went into adminstration last season and were deducted 10 points then as per rules, ok our chaiman found a loophole with is timing as we were already as good as relegated and the 10 points didn't really have any effect. However I will say to that we don't make the rules just play to them.
Please take time to watch this short video because it sums up how many like me are feeling at present, we love our Club and won't let it die, they can't kill our spirit.
Leeds United are obviously appealing against decision but as yet no date as been agreed, who will decide our fate the other 23 clubs that we will be competing against many of whom hate us.
Something Stinks about all this episode.
Another thing that is really pissing me off is all the morons from other Clubs that are leaving their hate fuelled messages on the many Leeds Forums. I think for most of them are more occupied with us than their own little Clubs, my message to them F**k Off back to your own sad tiny little world.
We still have our great memories, we still love our Club and We will be back.
MARCHING ON TOGETHER
We still have our many great memories

Thanks Sandii & Rebecca (plus the rest)
Tonights post I'm going to thank my Blog Friends, I'll start with Sandii who choose what I should wear for my night out/meal on Tuesday. I thought after getting you all to give me some input I better post a photo of what I looked like before I went out, I'd probably look a little drunk later.
So tell me what you think, does the clothes that where Sandii's choice look good on me, obviously don't be shy with your opinions and don't be scared of using the word handsome.
Moving on Fridays Boys night out as grown, there are only three of us going but another group from work are having a night out also so we plan to meet up. Its a leaving do for Tracy from the Sales office, she's a real nice person thats worked for us for many years, she is a popular lady so there should be a few out. This is the night I plan to wear the shirt that got most votes on my recent post.
Moving on and my special thanks to Rebecca cos she is my new Number one. Check my list of blog friends on the sidebar and you will see her at the top. She was my top blogger in July with 18 comments it was very close Airliebird had "16" while Rachel had "15". The top seven where all in double figures but I was really chuffed with the comments from everyone. Thanks to you all.
