As I said in last nights post I went to the local Pub "The White Horse Tavern" where I spent a incident free evening. I got talking with some nice people of European backround, most of the time I was socialising with a bloke from Germany who has lived in the US (Chicago) for two years. I also got chatting with another bloke who now lived in SF but originated from the Ukraine. And almost forgot the very nice Lithuanion (can't spell) Lady who I chatted with for a while (most of the night actually).
I actually had my evening meal at the Pub and had Rack of Lamb which was very nice but the portions were small by American standards, I've had bigger school diners.
I didn't stay too late and got a good nights sleep which I needed.
Today I toured around Fishermans Wharf which is very interesting area with loads to see and do, I'll visit again before I leave. I also caught the ferry and visited Alcatraz which is quite run down. Learning about the history of the place was really interesting but the Cell block is on top of a hill and coming back down killed my foot. In fact everything is on a hill in San Francisco, walking about is so tiring, I'm sure I've seen a couple of mountain goats.
Again I've just been giving maximum effort to get my moneys worth out of the Hotels Free Wine and Cheese hour.
Tonight I plan to take in some live music at either a Blues Club or a Piano Bar, whatever it should be fun.
