2007 Start Weight - 219lbs
Last Weigh in - 216lb
Todays Actual Weight - 215.2lb
Loss/Gain since last Weigh in - -0.8lb
Loss so far in 2007 - 3.8lb
Today's Target Weight - 206lb
Loss/Gain against Target - +9.2lb
Mixed emotions this week, I'm pleased I've actually lost because I knew I'd maybe struggle following a couple of nights out I've had in the last seven days. However I'm dissapointed as I sort of hoped to lose more than 0.8lb because I'm falling further away from my target. I'm still trying to get back to where I was before my vacation and lose a fair bit more before my next trip.
Talking of vacations I've questions for some of my blog friends :-
Jenny/Rachel - What are the must see things and must do's in Boston ?
Rebecca - Is September a good time to visit New Orleans ?

I love Boston! I walked some of the Freedom Trail and it was so much fun. Met so many nice people! And we over to Salem - the witch's museum is there. Cambridge is over the river. If I could move anywhere in the US and not be homesick, it would be Boston!
Thanks for the kind words, Mick. I agree - my family doesn't see me as an adult and definitely must think I'm an ugly toad frog or something. I will NEVER go back to that type of abuse. I will learn to be friends but that's it and once Son is 19, the friends part can end, too.
Any loss is a good thing at least when it comes to weight.
Do you really want to visit New Orleans while it's still in the clean up phase?
Congrats on the loss!
Rach,
I've read about the Freedom trail its supposed to take you around a lot of historical sights. I intend to walk it while I'm there.
Rebecca,
Thanks but what about my question.
Cactus,
Yes I want to go to N.O. I was planning to go in September 2005 but Katrina struck so I ended up going to Memphis instead.
Apparentley the French quarter and tourist areas were in the main untouched. Also they are trying to attract people back and you can get good hotel deals (just need to get a good flight price).
I will do N.O. if not in September it will be December or April/May next year.
Congrats on the weight loss-even a little loss is positive!
As for Boston, walking the freedom trail is a good way to see a lot of stuff. If you are there in the summer, checking out a Red Sox game is always fun (but they are a hot ticket--rather expensive). I love hanging out at Quincy Market (pronounced Quin-zee) and eating at this place called Durgin Park which is right near Fanueil Hall, another cool historic landmark.
Rachel is right about Salem, if you can head over there, the witches museum is fun and interesting.
It is frustrating but you will get there. At least it isn't a gain and you are on the right track. Just keep working at it :-)
Keep on trucking Mick, well done! :)
A loss is a loss! So good for you! I have been to boston, but as a child. I have never been to new orleans...sad thing is it isnt the same now, since the floods. But I am sure you would have a wonderful time at either place.
Jenny,
Thanks, I'll be in Boston at the end of June I'll check out the Quincy market area.
Suzy,
I'll keep going however long it takes, just would like to crack 200lb this year.
Airliebird,
Thanks
Tex,
I'm sure I'll enjoy Boston which is soon, the N.O. trip isn't certain yet but its a place I will visit.
