To us soccer fans summer does not officially start until after the last match of the season. So Sundays world cup final (well done Italy) signalled the start of summer.
We can now forget about Soccer until the first match of next season for our Clubs.
Note - Leeds United first pre-season friendly is tonight, they are in Norway to take on Sparta Sarpsburg.
Summer is over at last.

Result - A 2-2 draw not a bad result considering the Norwegions are halfway through their season and our boys will only be working on their fitness.
We have quite a few fans over in Scandinavia dont we? I remember ex wimbledon champ Stefan Egberg was a Leeds Fan. (always liked him you know lol)
Mind you, he was from Sweden, not Norway, but I think both are in Scandinavia :)
Leeds are the biggest supported Club in Scandinavia (outside their own), Apparently a few hundred even turned up for the Leeds training session the other night.
