Forest Park St Louis

Forest Park St Louis is a great place to spend a day just walking around and exploring. It is at least 2 mile long by 1 mile wide.
On my rounds I came across a museum, a Zoo, A boat house with a good restaurant, a visitors centre with a cafe, a golf course, a opera house, a tennis centre, a art gallery plus plenty of scenic views.
Just a great place with something for everyone.

Great pictures and the weather looks like it was quite nice for you. I have never been to that park but it looks like a great time.

Some lovely pics there Mick. One thing that strikes me, isnt everything so lovely and tidy? Is all places you visited in the US the same or is it like over here, some places are a right tip?!

Jenny,
The weather was good while I was in the States between mid 70's & 80's. It rained one morning in Chicago but only for a couple of hours.
My visit to Forest Park was one of the hottest days.

Airliebird,
Your correct it is cleaner in most US cities (the ones I have seen). People just don't drop litter in the streets and there is very little Graffitee, our country is a disgrace in comparison.
