Music Monday - The "X's"

I must say its now getting difficult, I can't really think of too many major acts beginning with the letter "X". Don't criticise the quality of the following if you can't come up with better, X isn't easy.

I've come up with these three.

1. XTC "Making Plans for Nigel" - made No17 in the chart back in 1979.

2. X Ray-Spex " Oh Bondage up Yours" - A bit of Punk from 1977 from the group fronted by that lady called Poly Styrene (classic !).

3. Xscape "Who can I run to" - American Girl Group from Atlanta with a song that charted in the UK in 1996.

I keep forgeting to ask, did you end up making up with the blog freind who went funny? The one you were to meet up with when you met Meow?

And on another note, There's a guy who came over for a holiday 2 weeks ago from Kent, and is staying with freinds of mine. He came into the shop where i work last week And I asked him how he found the people in Australia so far, compared to England. Did he find them more laid back, like most people tend to say? And he said, "Yes, almost to the point of rudeness." I said to him, "lol get out!!" Nah just kidding lol

So maybe you shouldn't visit Oz after all WRB! We might be to casual for you! lol

San,
Well done X aint easy.

Rebecca,
I'm sure there are plenty of good friends you could run to.

Cactus,
They certainly was tough.
The situation with the blog friend is all sorted, no problem we are still very good friends.
Kent is in the South of England, I'm from the North, life is much slower in the North.

You're right Mick, the difference between North and South is like chalk and cheese I think!
I must admit, I would love to go to Aussie, for the RL world cup next year. But I don't think funds will run to that one!
Ooo nearly forgot, I'll go for XTC lol

A punk rock band where the horn player is miked a lot higher volume than the rest of the band? Talk about LAME-O!! I wonder if that girl is still alive?

anyhow, xpunk or whatever they were called get my vote, a vote for mis-spent youth, wasted life, completely off the mark band, horriblly static cinematography, and that singing prance with the feet wide apart and the knees knocking together so it looks like she is pissing all through the song. Anarchy in the UK! Not even Wendy O. Williams could top this!

Yikes, X is a hard one! Although I do like the rapper Xzibit (he is on the MTV show Pimp My Ride).
