Don't mess with the British
A lot of the news at present is about the 15 sailors from the Royal Navy that have been taken prisoner by Iran who claims they were inside their territorial waters. Our government say's they were not but I think that is irrelevant, the point is they were doing their job and stopping the Iranians slipping weopens into Iraq.
Now I would suggest that Iran allows the diplomatic means allow for their release because the British will not stand for this and the preverbal shit will soon hit the fan. Already other coutries such as USA, Australia & Canada look like they'll support us. European countries have offered their support but I expect them to do their usual back track.
The situation reminds me of 25 years ago when Argentina on April 2nd 1982 invaded the Falkland Isles. As these were on their door step in the South Atlantic (8,000 miles from Britain) and with a poulation of only 1,800 inhabitants their military regime thought we would let them have them.
Wrong they were as our Prime Minister of the time Magaret Thatcher backed by all the other major political parties put together a task force of over 200 ships made up of Royal Navy & converted merchant ships plus 40,000 military personel to go and retake the Islands and bring them back under British rule.
By June 14th the Union Jack was raised above the Capital Port Stanley bringing the end to what was probably the last traditional Land, Sea & water war the world will ever see, none of this terrorist shit. 
The life count was high with Argentina losing 655 troops, Britain lost 255 and 3 Islanders were killed. A large part of the Argentine deaths was when Royal Navy Submerine HMS Conquerer sank their Criser General Belgrano. Britain also lost a few ships such as HMS Sheffield & HMS Coventry, many landing vessels such as the Sir Galahad, Ardent & Antelope. Over 10,000 Argetinians were taken prisoner.
