October was a case of three in a row for the lovely Sandii who was again my number one blogger. She not only made most comments she made a amazing 29 comments now thats a record I believe. So the challenge is on for the first person to break the 30 comments in a month barrier.
Anyway I reckon she deserves a big e'hug.

The top five bloggers reached double figures and another two pretty ladies took up the silver and bronze positions Airliebird with 17 comments followed by Rebecca with 14 comments.

The others making double figures were Ironman (formally Spider) and Celtic Girl with 12 & 11 comments respectively.

Thanks to everyone for their imput it makes blogging worthwhile.

And for the 2nd month running -

Thats another month gone so its time to check who has commented most on my blog, a quiet month with less posts than normal due to my vacation so I was pleased four people reached double figures.

Anyway for the 2nd month running the lovely Sandii stays in top spot with 15 comments despite not been very active on her own blog for various reasons.
It was a close run thing because only one comment behind on 14 was Spider his highest ever position I believe.
Rebecca whom I was lucky enough to meet in Atlanta was third with 11 posts closely followed by Suzy who with 10 posts achieved her highest position so far.

Thanks to everyone for their input its always appreciated my friends.

How to stop Leeds Front Men Scoring

Well so far this season Leeds have been brilliant and our Front Men Jermaine Beckford and Tresor Kandol have been almost unstoppable scoring goals for fun. We have made a mockery of the fifteen points we were docked at the start winning our opening 7 matches to equal the Clubs best ever start to a season.

Well the run had to end somewhere but today was sickening the way it happend. Away at Gillingham we started really well taking the lead through winger Seb Carole (pictured below) and were cruising. But this is Leeds United and the referee decided he would even the Match up a bit by sending off Kandol. We still kept playing well and controlling the game so he decided to send off Beckford as well, but not before he had two goals disallowed, we played the last 30 minutes two men short and with the referee helping them it was a bit like the Alamo.

The players played brilliantly fighting for everything again with fantastic vocal support from our army of travelling fans but disaster struck in the final minutes of the game with Gillingham equalising, we did hang on for the draw wish is a great result in such circumstances. Even reporters on the TV said the referee was diabolical and they don't normally stick up for Leeds.

The above fans view short clip gives an incite to what our travelling fans thought first they cheer off our heroes then let the ref know there feelings as he leaves the field under a police escort for his own protection.

At least we still haven't been beaten, we will still win this league. At present we are 20th in the table but after only 8 matches and giving 15 points start its amazing we are off the bottom and out of the relegation zone. Without the penalty we would be three points clear at the top, thats the real league table.

This week Leeds appeal against the 15 points to the FA was ignored, they will not interfere with a Football League management decision, its never bothered them before. Leeds Coach Gus Poyet was this week charged by the same FA over comments he made about a previous referee. Is all this just a conspiracy, something smells about everything that is going on.

On another note I've a Table Tennis Match tomorrow afternoon its my first match following my vacation and I need the exercise, I haven't weighed but I feel fat, I'm sure I've put a fair bit on.
I'll be representing York against Wakefield in the Yorkshire League so I could have some hard games.
I've two matches in the York league coming up this week Tuesday is our scheduled fixture and I think we will have a rearranged match Thursday.

Last night following work I went out for a few drinks with some of the people who left yesterday, they were the remaining ones from the previous redundancies. We maybe off out for a meal on Wednesday but not sure it definate yet.

In my last post I mentioned blog friend Rachel and I'll just say that she has been in touch, we've exchanged a number of emails and everything is ok between us. She has had a very tough time and reached rock bottom in her life but a few things are now starting to look brighter, for one she should be starting a new job Monday which she really needs.
She will be back blogging eventually with a new blog but at present she does not have internet access at home, she is walking to the local library to email. Wish her luck cos she is rebuilding her life from scratch, I'll be supporting her as much as I can.

Yet another New No1

Well another good month of blogging is passed and I've done my usual check to see who is my most prolific blog friend. Once again I'm pleased with the results with seven people in double figures once again. Its pleasing when people respond to your posts makes it feel worthwhile, on top of that I reckon I'm making some good friends through the internet.

Anyway Rebecca last months winner put in yet another good effort but is relegated to 2nd spot, she was pushed hard by Airliebird both had 16 comments. These were closely followed by Jenny and Spidey both with 14 comments.

But although these numbers are fantastic they haven't come close to this months winner who is Sandii with a fantastic 25 comments, well I reckon she deserves a big hug so its a pity she lives at the other side of the World.

Well done and Thanks to all of you couldn't pick a better bunch.

Tonights post I'm going to thank my Blog Friends, I'll start with Sandii who choose what I should wear for my night out/meal on Tuesday. I thought after getting you all to give me some input I better post a photo of what I looked like before I went out, I'd probably look a little drunk later.

So tell me what you think, does the clothes that where Sandii's choice look good on me, obviously don't be shy with your opinions and don't be scared of using the word handsome.

Moving on Fridays Boys night out as grown, there are only three of us going but another group from work are having a night out also so we plan to meet up. Its a leaving do for Tracy from the Sales office, she's a real nice person thats worked for us for many years, she is a popular lady so there should be a few out. This is the night I plan to wear the shirt that got most votes on my recent post.

Moving on and my special thanks to Rebecca cos she is my new Number one. Check my list of blog friends on the sidebar and you will see her at the top. She was my top blogger in July with 18 comments it was very close Airliebird had "16" while Rachel had "15". The top seven where all in double figures but I was really chuffed with the comments from everyone. Thanks to you all.

Cactus back on top

Well a new month is upon us again and I've re-jigged my list of Blog friends and Cactusfreek has gone back to the top of the list with 20 comments. All top 7 bloggers were in double figures, thanks to all of you for your inputs.

Sadly three friends don't seem to be bloging anymore so I've removed them from the list, "Hear me Roar" announced that she was stopping, "Oral Girl" seems to have disappeared and "Vanessa" hasn't blogged since early march, I hope everthing is all right. I've saved all their blog addressess just in case they decide to return.

For My Friend Rachel

New Month New No1 Blogger

Well done to Airliebird as she was my top blog commentator last month with 25 comments. This Yorkshire lass is usually in the top 3 or 4 but for the first time is my No1.
Celtic Girl maintained 2nd place with 19 comments while Rebecca moves up to 3rd with 17 comments.
The next three spots were close with two former No1's Cactus & Rachel on 13. Jenny is doing well to keep in touch with her big day approaching and had 12 comments.

I've taken off the list Redneckgirl, Joel & Modigli as they are no longer blogging although RNG still comments and hopfully the others will read from time to time. Saved these 3 in my favorites in case they ever have a change of heart.

February Comments

For the second month in succession Cactusfreek has placed the most comments on my blog this time with 18. The next most comments was Celtic Girl with 16 who moves up to 2nd in my fun blog friends league.

The next 5 positions were seperated by only one post Rachel, Airliebird & Jenny all had 13 posts while Rebecca and Sandii both posted 12 times. Spider was another that got into double figures with 10 posts.

As I reported earlier in the month Modigli is no longer blogging, I'll just hope she sneaks a read occasionally because her comments will be sadly missed. Although Redneckgirl isn't doing her own blog she has still placed a few comments.

I will now adjust my list of blog friends.

One Year

I've now been blogging for one year so I thought it was worth mentioning the fact. I've been looking at a few of the posts I've wrote over the year and also the comments they recieved, some interesting stuff.

I clearly remember the day I came across Regina's blog by chance and started to comment. It wasn't long before Reg and one of her blog friends "Joel DcNats" persuaded me to start my own blog. I was a little unsure at first if it was what I wanted to do but decided to give it a go.

Anyway when I got going I decided to try make a few more friends and did a number of ramdom blog searches. I got 4 or 5 regulars in the first month including two ladies that have commented ever since on a regular basis throughout, thats Rachel & Jenny and I think so much of both of them, good people I reckon.

As the year continued I just got more and more people I really like posting, ok some have dissapointingly fell by the wayside but I reckon I've just made so many friends through this blog, all great people.

Anyway to everyone that has contributed during these 12 months I'd like to "Thanks" you've all been fantastic.

As those that have been reading my blog for a while you know each month I change around my list of Blogging Friends based on number of comments. Well this month I've had an amazing response to my posts with a record number of comments. I must admit one thing that encourages me to blog is the response of you all.

Well for the first time the lovely Rachel (19 posts) as been knocked off top spot but its taken an exceptional effort by Cactusfreek (25 posts) closely followed by Rebecca (24posts) to beat the lady. In fact the top 8 are all in double figures with their comments.

I thank you all for supporting my blog, love everyone of you.

On a sad note Redneckgirl is going to stop doing her blog and she will sadly missed, Sandii also gave us a bit of a scare but I'm optimistic she will keep blogging.

Blogging Friends

Its 1st of January and some of you may have noticed I've changed the order of my Blogging friends once again. I try to do this each month based on the number of comments each person has made on my blog in the previous month.

Not a lot changes at the top with Rachel still my top blogger with 19 comments but it was really close. Airliebird stayed in 2nd spot and was only one comment behind with 18 while Jenny jumped back to 3rd with 17. Rachel also put a number of comments on my San Francisco pictures on My Photo Blog but I didn't count these.

Two others also got into double figures with their comments both Cactusfreek & Rebecca weighed in with 14.

Quite a few other bloggers have had a bit of a break in the last month but hopfully will be blogging a lot in 2007.

And I nearly forgot welcome to Celtic Girl who has commented on my last couple of Posts.

Blogging Problems

Since the upgrade of Blogger to the Beta version is anyone having problems posting or commenting ?

I know at least one of my blog friends (Regina) is having a lot of problems, she has e'mailed me because she can't comment to my blog (can to some not to others). I believe she uses an older "Apple" system but I don't know if this is relevant. With Blogger there is nobody or help desk you can phone.

My Blog Friends - November

Well once again I've listed My Blog Friends in Order of number of comments on My Blog in the Month.
Once again Rachel (23 posts) tops the list followed by Airliebird (20). Arlene (19) swaps places with Jenny (17) in 3rd & 4th positions.
Cactusfreek (16)jumps up from number twelve to move into the top five. Another Climber is Redneckgirl (9) up one place to number six.
Seventh spot is taken by a welcome newcomer Rebecca (7).
The rest are as per my blog friends list.

Nice Suggestion Rachel

Ok my blogging block is cured so two posts tonight.

My friend Rachel made a comment on my last nights post that we should have a bloggers weekend somewhere central (she suggests Memphis) next spring. As she say's we could greet, eat and party.

Although I believe she wasn't totally serious it is an interesting idea. Personally I'm always up for meeting people but the logistics would be impossible.
For a start looking at my blog friends list I have 4 countries represented England, Austrailia, Canada and USA. People wouldn't be able to get time off work at the same time, some maybe couldn't afford it, I imagine a few are not into meeting online friends, etc.

Saying this personally I would like to meet as many blog friends as possible on my travels, I may meet some in the next year if in the same city (I hope so). Its certainly possible as I intend another 4 visits to North America next year.

I expect my first trip to be late April, 2nd trip June/July, 3rd inSeptember and the final one in December again. I don't know yet what cities I will visit on these trips with the exception as I plan to be in Chicago for the Taste of Chicago in early July.

I've been thinking (I know that surprises you) which bloggers would meet a online friend, I reckon it'll be about 50 to 60%.

So what are your thoughts on bloggers meeting ?

My Blogging Friends

Well some of you may have noticed I've adjusted my list of blogging friends slightly again. The order is based on number of comments to my posts in the last month (basically a league table of bloggers).

The Top three Rachel, Airliebird and Jenny remain unchanged but Arlene moves up to No4.

Two people who seem to be having a blogging break since september Lynn & Vannessa have dropped off my list but are saved in my favorites and will be put back on the list when they start blogging again.

Two newcomers this month are Redneckgirl and Slim Suzy who hopfully will keep reading (check out their blogs if you don't already).

I've also had comments from a couple of non bloggers, Vicky my work Gossip Buddy plus a couple of comments from Red Lioness (Diana) who I met in Toronto. Both these lovely ladies have their photo's posted among my October posts.

I know of a few others that read my blog so come on if you are going to read lets see the occasional comment.

Where have all the good bloggers gone ?

Now before anyone gets upset at this article it is not about those of you in my blogging circle of friends.

When I started blogging just over 6 months ago following a chance reading of Regina's blog had got me commenting. I was persuaded to start my own blog and decided I would like more people to communicate with, at the time Regina & Joel supported my blog.

Over the first few months I made a few comments on the blog friends of these two bloggers and got a few comments back. I wanted my own circle so started to do random blog searches, when I found a blog I liked I commented and some of these started to write back (a few didn't reply). I think thats where most of my blog friends have come from and you are all great people that I really do consider genuine friends.

That brings me to my point, during the last week I have done quite a few blog searches and can't seem to find any blogs that interest me or that I feel I want to write to.

That raises the above question - Where have all the good bloggers gone ?

Perhaps I've got all the good one's on my list already.
